Sunshine and shadows.

I worked on this painting from a photograph I took on a bright day in October this year at Shaldon, Teignmouth, Devon. The sky was almost cloudless and the sunshine bounced off the boats and left dramatic shadows. I loved the contrast of bleaching daylight and black shade.X Share this:
